Robert Cornellier began his career as a writer-director of feature films (La Fuite/The Escape, and two short films). In the 1980s, Robert turned toward documentaries and television current affairs. Since then Robert has directed and produced more than 20 documentaries and about one hundred television reports from Quebec and around the world. For nine years, Robert was one of three filmmakers driving Nord-Sud, the pioneering television program broadcast by Radio-Quebec. Then Robert founded, with his colleagues Raymonde Provencher and Patricio Henriquez, the Macumba International production company. Now he continues to produce and direct as a freelancer..
